As a relatively new corporation, we are focused on the major costs that affect our profitability as we continue to grow. As with many corporations, health claims continue to drive the cost of our health coverage through the roof. Every year, CHP has helped us focus on wellness, and educating our employees on making better choices. This focus hopefully feeds over into their families and their lifestyles, ultimately lowering the impact to our insurance. As with any change of behavior, it is a process. One doesn’t change learned behavior in a short period of time. A company must make this new behavior part of its culture. Partnering with CHP, who are experts in the industry, have allowed us to be creative, and find programs that our employees respond to. Any broker can offer cookie cutter programs, but CHP becomes a part of the organization and structures programs that work for your company. Every year our successes are material and measurable. It is an investment that we continue to make for the future of the lives of our employees and the continued success of our company.

Knox County Government
In my prior role I worked for 7 years as a Benefits Manager for Knox County Government in Knoxville, Tennessee. I managed benefits for approximately 2,500 employees. In early 2000 we identified the need for a progressive wellness program. Our voluntary wellness program began in 2001 and grew quickly into a comprehensive wellness program that later complimented the benefit strategies we had in place.
As you can imagine, managing a wellness plan for 2,500 employees was not an easy task. To maximize our efforts in the area of health and wellness we sought the expertise of Corporate Health Partners. CHP were able to bring our wellness program to the “next level” by helping us hold employees accountable for their health and well-being.
With the help of CHP, we were able to tie wellness efforts such as health coaching and health risk assessments to the premiums employees paid for their health insurance. Tying personal accountability to health premiums was a valuable step in our wellness process that enabled us to better manage our employee population which ranged in risk factor levels from low level to high risk. This simply would not have worked so well had we used in house resources.
CHP provided us with wonderful, timely service and allowed our program to continue to grow while improving the health of our diverse population. Jack and his team are professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. It is my honor to recommend the services and staff at Corporate Health Partners.

Jack and his team worked with the Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s (ACH) Wellness Steering Team in 2007 to help us identify the gaps in our wellness program, develop goals and a 5 year strategy to improve our health and wellness outcomes. CHP demonstrated the expertise and professionalism we needed to move our wellness program to the next level.
The CHP team was very thorough in assessing our current wellness program; gathering information, facilitating focus groups with employees and meeting with key players within the organization. The result was a more aggressive five year plan that was customized to meet our goal to increase participation in health assessments, improve health outcomes and related costs.
At the end of the project, we were presented an overview of their recommendations, budget proposal, and ROI estimate. This information was used to present to our CEO, COO and the Board, who approved the plan for us to move forward. This is our first year, and we are already excited about the increased participation that we are seeing. I highly recommend Jack and his team at Corporate Health Partners.

Even during the vendor-selection process, our firm felt an immediate connection with CHP, so it was an easy choice for us to work with them to create a wellness program. They've come to understand the unique aspects of our industry and they have been responsive and willing to teach us the business of wellness. The CHP team has an extensive reach into the wellness marketplace and has been terrific about researching and putting us in contact with the right products and resources for our employees. We actually consider our relationship with CHP to be a model for how we wish we could work with all our vendors.

Hauler's Insurance Company, Inc. - Fully Insured Client
The wellness program we have implemented here at Haulers Insurance Company, Inc. has been one of the best things we have ever done. While our investment in wellness was driven to some degree by a desire to reduce health insurance costs for both the Company as well as our employees, the benefits we have received from our workforce and their improved attitudes has far exceeded the modest costs of the program. It has done wonders for employee morale as our employees feel the Company truly cares about them and their welfare. It is hard at this stage of the program to quantify its results. Nevertheless, we have solid anecdotal evidence of the changes it has made in people’s behaviors and lifestyles. Many of our employees will be happy to tell you of, as well as show you, the changes it has made in their lives, as will their doctors.
The staff at Corporate Health Partners has been terrific to work with. Our communications with (CHP) have been frequent and productive. They have done everything we have asked of them. They have made us very glad of our decision to implement this program.

I wanted to personally thank you for all the assistance you have shared with our organization over the last 5 years. Our mid-size brokerage firm has been very pleased with the level of service and creativity you and the employees of Corporate Health Partners have provided.
Your team’s knowledge and innovative approach to develop workable strategies toward our client’s Corporate Wellness Programs has been unsurpassed in the industry.
You provide real-life answers and clearly bridge the gap between theory and practice by helping Senior Management “champion” the Wellness cause. Many clients realize a substantial return on investment (ROI) within 12-18 months, and further direct and indirect ROI over time.
We are much better positioned as a broker and client advocate when we are able to partner together and engage your services. When our clients focus their energies towards the concept of wellness, we see a direct correlation with reduced medical trend and incidence rates over time.
Productivity increases are almost immediate within most occupation classes. This measurement goes well beyond the direct expenditure reductions within employee benefits and worker’s compensation coverage.
Employees benefit from reduced costs in three main ways:
-
Reduced costs for company sponsored benefits versus companies with no Wellness Program involvement.
-
Improved physical health through financial incentives.
-
Productive workplace environment.
Our recent client, Ameriwood Industries, Inc. has been able to successfully reduce their average healthcare cost increases due to your behavior changing wellness incentive programs.
